Summit is offering virtual academic summer camps in reading/writing, math, baking, theater, and Spanish. All girls are invited to keep active and exploring the outdoors through our virtual summer camp programs. She can confidently join this unique year of summer programs! All virtual campers will:
- Make new friends in sessions with limited capacities so girls can form a bond and participate in team-building activities
- Explore the outdoors with quick activities that encourage girls to take a break from screen time

Matthew 25's Cultivate Hope Food Camps
Matthew 25 is offering a Food Explorers Day Camp for kids ages K-2nd on June 17th. Food camps allow students a chance to learn about food through nature exploration, outdoor crafts, and scavenger hunts, make healthy snacks using veggies from the farm, and explore how food is grown.

Come find out why art is smart! Kidcreate Studio offers four day camps Monday-Thursday, morning 9:00-Noon or afternoon 1:00-4:00 and one day mini camps. Lunch and doodle is available as well for an all-day option. We offer learn to draw, painting, clay, 3-D creations and more. Making a mess is the best at Kidcreate! COVID-19 precautions: in the studio we are observing all COVID-19 precautions by maintaining distance, limiting the studio to 10 people at a time, providing several hand washing stations and sanitizing all surfaces regularly. Anyone that enters the studio must wear a mask. All ceramic wheel workshops are on Mondays, when the studio is closed to the public. All one-day hand building workshops will be held in our dedicated S.T.E.A.M classroom in the Cherry Building. Do not enter the building If your child feels ill or has been exposed to someone with COVID-19. In that case, please contact us for a programming voucher, or to be transferred to another Camp or Workshop by emailing us at [email protected]. Register online!

YMCA Camp Wapsie
*Due to COVID-19, Camp Wapsie has suspended camping for the first 4 weeks. Camps will hopefully resume in July!
YMCA Camp Wapsie offers overnight and day camp programming to school age children and teens. We offer adventure trips, leadership development, wilderness education, hunter safety, and outdoor skills programs for teens. Our overnight programs include traditional cabin campers and The Village with more structured, age specific programming for our younger campers. Camp Wapsie staff works to help kids have a positive experience getting to know themselves, grow friendships, social and life skills, while experiencing a wide variety of sports, games, crafts, and many other camp activities.

Who knew learning could be so much fun? At Creek Camp, your child will be guided by naturalists and experienced interns as they explore the outdoors, learn about wildlife, enjoy unstructured play, practice outdoor skills, observe the wonder of nature and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. Children will create memories while they learn and even get a little dirty, too. Creek Camp will help foster in your child a connection to the outdoors that lasts a lifetime! Half day, full day, four day, and weeklong/overnight experiences are available for preschoolers through 6th grade! Wrap around care is available for full days of Creek Camp! Linn County Conservation’s Wickiup Hill Learning Center features interactive exhibits for kids, educational programming, field trips, history, and live animal displays.
