The Crunch Berry Run

October 2 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

| $25 – $30

Murals & More invites you to The Crunch Berry Run, sponsored by The Quaker Oats Company, an extraordinary, family-friendly, colorful fun run or walk – you choose how far you go, up to 5K!

In partnership with Cedar Rapids Downtown Farmers’ Market, The Crunch Berry Run begins at 9:00 AM on Saturday, October 2, 2021, starting and ending at the 2nd Ave Bridge in Downtown Cedar Rapids. You will be doused in environmentally-friendly color powder as you run or walk the route.

Clare Duffy and Eric Hanson, hosts of Z102.9’s The Morning Scramble, will join the fun as emcees of the opening program, including a special performance by Alisabeth Von Presley, as well as an official proclamation of October 2 as Crunch Berry Day by Cedar Rapids Mayor Hart.

Go as far as you’d like on the 5k route. You may want to walk a mile, jog the full 5K, or anything in-between. Great! You can turn around on the route whenever you’d like.

After crossing the finish line, the party continues on the 2nd Ave Bridge until 11:00 AM with crunch berries, music, family-friendly activities, and of course more color!

This fun run/walk is not timed and is appropriate for people of all ages and athletic abilities.

The Crunch Berry Run is a fundraiser for Murals & More, a non-profit organization dedicated to utilizing local architecture as the backdrop for public art in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. All proceeds from this event go to support Murals & More’s mission to create public art in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
