Growing up, quite literally, in the middle of a cornfield, Amy is a born and raised Iowa girl. She moved to Cedar Rapids five years ago, in true lovestruck fashion, to follow a boy who later became her husband. Together, they have two dogs and are the proud parents of a spunky, 9-month-old boy named Harrison. As a first-time mom, Amy is groggily wading her way through the complexities of this new role, including how to juggle breastfeeding while working full time and not letting the all-consuming mom guilt get the best of her. She’s currently surviving motherhood on sweet baby laughs, a casual Oreo addiction, minor spats of sarcasm, and fantasizing about a full night of sleep. Whenever she gets a free moment, you can find her doing one of three things: exercising, putting on a face mask, or sitting on the couch doing absolutely nothing but eating a snack.
